Informatica 9.6.1 : Import objects into Informatica repository

Stepwise illustration on how to import objects using Informatica powercenter repository manager.

Step 1 :

Log into repository manager and select "Import objects".

Step 2 :

Click browse to select XML file which contain the object to import.

Step 3 :

Select objects to import, Click add.

Step 4 :

Match folders and select unique folders to import.

Step 5 :

General import options - Optional options to check in and apply label.

Step 6 :

Conflict resolution wizard. Select appropriate resolution method, Replace, rename or reuse.

Step 7 :

Select appropriate global copy options. For example, retain sequence generator, normalizer or XML current values.

Step 8 :

Click import, once conflicts are resolved.

Step 9 :

Import in progress.

Step 10 :
